Alpha Phi Omega, Alpha Epsilon Zeta Chapter of UTD

2010 Scouting University

Scouting University is a merit badge college run by the members of the Alpha Epsilon Zeta Chapter of APO. The instructors are either professors or graduate students who have the necessary qualifications for the particular badge. Scouts of all ages are welcome, but preference will be given to older Scouts for certain (Eagle required) merit badges. All Scouts will be supervised and escorted to and from their classrooms on the UTD campus by APO members. The scouts will be given their blue cards during class, on which their completed requirements will be listed. Thus, they should know which requirements are left for them to complete on their own after the event. Any adults or Scout troop leaders are welcome to stay and help out at the event. Persons interested in teaching a merit badge course are invited to e-mail the Scouting U. Chair at aez.scoutingu@gmail.com.
