One thing about these projects is that they DO count APO hr~accodring to the service policy. And it provides more varity of service opportunities for different group of people. 9/24-10/17 Dallas Historical Society @ State Fair:
The Dallas Historical Society would like volunteers to work the “Memories of World War II” exhibit.
Assistance involves either working as a tour guide, crowd manager, or ticket-taker. Minimum of three shifts required.
Training is provided September 18, from 10-noon.
Credentials, snacks, parking and admission to fair will be provided to all volunteers.

9/21 Career Center Fall 2004 Expo:
The career center is looking for volunteers to assist with greeting employers and helping to set up booth displays, helping with registration, collecting evaluations, and other fun and exciting duties.
If anyone would like to help, please contact Donna Srader no later than September 13 at donna.srader@utdallas.edu. Provide your name, phone number, and times you are available on September 21.
Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and can work one- or two-hour shifts.
